TinkerBelle Rated puzzle: Easy Best completion time: 4:58 Time on first attempt: 26:35 Used 'show wrong moves' Used 'check puzzle' when incorrect
Hi Gareth. I've finished the puzzle and what I have done is correct but the bottom line refuses to fill in where it is supposed to so it's coming up as incomplete.

Hi TinkerBelle, Sorry about that - it's a bug in the player but you can work around it by making the window narrower (just temporarily to select that bottom line will do). I've tried to fix this before but I'm not quite sure why it happens very occasionally. It's still on my To Do list! :)

Thanks Gareth. I've now got a new problem :-( This puzzle and one other that I have saved will not allow me to play them again. It comes up in a pop up window saying Error Invalid Save Code 0. Sorry to be a pain Tracey

Hi Tracey, Sorry for the inconvenience. I have viewed your save files and I am very surprised to say that you have found a bug in puzzlemix that I was unaware of, and so far as I know has not happened before in the few years that the Hanjie have been online!
If you play the puzzles with the grid lines set to 4x4 or 5x5, save, then set the grid lines to 5x5 only, then puzzles which are not multiples of 5 in size will fail to reload. That is a mistake on my behalf.
So if you temporarily set your grid lines option in Edit User back to 4x4 or 5x5 then these two saved Hanjies you have will reload fine. Once you have played them feel free to set it back to 5x5 only if that's your preferred option.
I will fix this now I know of it, but it won't be in the next few days I don't think.
Thanks for reporting this, and sorry again!

Trust me! :-) Thanks Gareth. Love the site. I've been laid up with a back problem for nearly 5 weeks now and it's saving my sanity! Regards, Tracey.

Key
A yellow/light blue highlight in the time distribution charts highlights your time, where relevant.
Rating scores out of 10.0 show the average difficulty rating chosen by users, where 1.0 is "Easy" and 10.0 is "Hard".
If a puzzle is opened more than once, including by loading from a saved position, then this is potentially a significant aid so it is listed as being completed with 'multiple sessions' for the purpose of the best time/average rating displays above.
Minor aid is defined as no more than one use of 'Check solution' when incomplete and/or no more than one use of 'Check solution' when wrong; and/or using highlighting aids (show repeated digits, show broken inequalities and show valid/invalid placements [slitherlink] only). Major aid is any and all other use of the solving aids except for 'show wrong'.
The clue numbers always give you the number of shaded squares - without exception.
There's no need to mark the unshaded squares to finish a puzzle, but if you would like to then use the right mouse button or ALT+click.
Hope this helps,
Gareth, puzzlemix
