Hi Gareth! Would it be possible to add larger (10x10 or even more) killers or calcudokus? I think that would be great fun.

The issue is how to enter numbers. While the site uses A,B, C… etc for larger sudoku, this wouldn’t work for killers or calcudoku. It doesn’t have any way of entering a multi-digit number beyond adding an on-screen keypad - which I think would be less than ideal.

I am not sure if fast typing would be an option. And A=10 and B=11 etc would probably work for me (but I use a tablet quite often, on whivh there is a num pad on screen anyway)

Totally different apporach: have letters a,b,c in the puzzle, but they all count zero....

JoergWausW, an interesting idea for a puzzle. I have often made killers and calcudoku puzzles with 0s in, although not more than one per region previously. It might be interesting to have distinct symbols that have the same numerical value, although I think it would be too complex for regular puzzlemix content because it would require too much explanation to the casual user who dropped in to try a puzzle or two.
But certainly I could in any case make 0-9 killers or calcudokus without having to have the shorthand of 0=10, although again there'd need to be some UI to say clearly "Place 0 to 9" or something like that.

Key
A yellow/light blue highlight in the time distribution charts highlights your time, where relevant.
Rating scores out of 10.0 show the average difficulty rating chosen by users, where 1.0 is "Easy" and 10.0 is "Hard".
If a puzzle is opened more than once, including by loading from a saved position, then this is potentially a significant aid so it is listed as being completed with 'multiple sessions' for the purpose of the best time/average rating displays above.
Minor aid is defined as no more than one use of 'Check solution' when incomplete and/or no more than one use of 'Check solution' when wrong; and/or using highlighting aids (show repeated digits, show broken inequalities and show valid/invalid placements [slitherlink] only). Major aid is any and all other use of the solving aids except for 'show wrong'.
