couldn't find obvious next moves, so had to resort to trial and error and iterations.
Edited - Got it. In Left bottom set of 6, sum of two defined cages 3 and 18 is coming as 21, which is the total of 1-2-3-4-5-6 = the sum for the entire set of 6. So, the one cage pushing in this set of 6 from outside R5C2, has to be the same number which has to be in the one cell going out from this set of 6 from the cage of 13 R6C3. otherwise the totals of two sets of 6 at bottom wouldn't come to 21. As the possibility for R6C3 is 256, the same has to be in R5C2. that helped in solving it quickly.

Vsrawat It gets easier as you learn combinations. Just remember that in 6x6 puzzles each row or column must add up to 21, as must each 6 unit block. Also use the pencil marks!

Here I used the total in each 2x3 unit is 21; top left and bottom right units give a result and the rest follows straightforwardly. Also useful, of course, in 9x9 puzzle where each 3x3 totals 45. Your deduction about 2 digits having to be equal is also useful, vsrawat, but I didn't have to use it here.
