Guessing certainly works as a strategy, but the puzzles on puzzlemix never require guessing - only standard sudoku techniques, up to and including x-wing.

Well we must be doing something wrong then as in several puzzles we have had to resort to guessing having tried all other strategies!

The only solving techniques needed for sudoku on PuzzleMix are sections 1, 2 and 3 on the sudopedia solving technique section, plus the first part, 'X-Wing', from section 4: http://sudopedia.enjoysudoku.com/Solving_Technique.html
