Is there anyway of turning off the clock? I did this on paper and then clicked in my answers to check if they were correct ,so my timing is meaningless and will upset the statistics!

If you want to have your time ignored the best thing to do is just to leave the window open while you solve on paper, then enter your results into that window when you're done. That way your time will register as the time since you opened the window correctly.
Good to see the rankings for each puzzle, but I am embarrassed that the above is on display (as is Puzzle 1 of the Consecutive Set). Is there anyway of removing these two which were not genuine as I explained above? Since then I have done as you suggest, Gareth, and am pleased if my results are reasonable. It is an achievement just to complete some of the puzzles and is good to see oneself somewhere in the charts!

Hi Elisabeth, If you want to send me your estimated times then I'm happy to increase your stored solution times to the times you send.
But soon I'll change the rankings so they only show if you open the puzzle a single time, so your times should be automatically hidden in these cases then anyway. (but that would only affect future puzzles)
Thanks, Gareth. I don't want to rob anyone of the 'top of the table' position, it obviously means a lot to some of your young competitors, so for Consecutive Set puzzle 1 my time was 16 minutes and for Jigsaw Set puzzle 4 it was 29 minutes. These are rather different from those displayed before I understood the system. Thoroughly enjoying all of your puzzles and am content if I only appear in the bottom quartile and just occasionally a bit higher up!

Hi Elisabeth, Okay, great - I've updated your times on this and the consecutive puzzle.
You can however view other players' statistics and their comments in the tables above.

Key
A yellow/light blue highlight in the time distribution charts highlights your time, where relevant.
Rating scores out of 10.0 show the average difficulty rating chosen by users, where 1.0 is "Easy" and 10.0 is "Hard".
If a puzzle is opened more than once, including by loading from a saved position, then this is potentially a significant aid so it is listed as being completed with 'multiple sessions' for the purpose of the best time/average rating displays above.
Minor aid is defined as no more than one use of 'Check solution' when incomplete and/or no more than one use of 'Check solution' when wrong; and/or using highlighting aids (show repeated digits, show broken inequalities and show valid/invalid placements [slitherlink] only). Major aid is any and all other use of the solving aids except for 'show wrong'.
