Can you have a quiet word with her Gareth and ask her not to inform us. PLEASE. I'm quiet fed up with looking at the comments hoping to see feedback and just seeing "printed out puzzle"

Thanks

Agree
Others have commented elsewhere but may not like to stand up and be counted here

I've sent an email to the user asking if they wouldn't mind keeping track of their printed status some other way, such as by leaving the puzzle in a saved or given-up state (which won't affect the ranking after the first successful solve).

The site was originally designed to discourage printing but browsers now mostly can do this - I suppose I could actually add some code to stop it printing altogether via the browser but that seems a rather opaque solution!

Thanks Gareth, although sadly more have appeared at 3 a.m. today!
I find the discussion forum interesting, hearing how others have got on over puzzles etc., also helpful and entertaining. It is a good addition to the puzzles themselves, adding an extra something to our hobby without being too earnest.

I agree. Always interesting to read others' comments - except for that one! Very irritating.

I expect the user didn't realise how their comments would appear on this part of the site - not everyone realises how all of the site works. I've had a very nice email back from them now and they've said they'll keep track of puzzles they've printed some other way, so hopefully that's all sorted now.

Yes, thanks so much both of you and hope Lori didn't take offence :-)
