Every puzzle on PuzzleMix has only one, unique solution which can be reached via reasonable logical deduction.
You can't repeat a digit in the answer to any given clue in Kakuro. Use the solving aids on the right-hand side to highlight any repeated digits or invalid totals.
What about using the fact, that the solution is unique while solving the puzzle? Is this considered a valid 'move'? Not in Kakuro esspecially but in any kind of puzzle (which can't have multiple solutions).

A valid move is whatever you want to use to get from the start to the end. :)
Using uniqueness is definitely a tactic some solvers use - in certain puzzles it is very often helpful, such as in loop-drawing puzzles like Slitherlink. It also pops up in Kakuro from time to time, although in Sudoku it's not quite so common.
However personally I don't like to use uniqueness when solving - I like to get to the end the way the person who created the puzzle intended. (Of course, when creating puzzles you can't use uniqueness because you don't actually know that the puzzle is unique yet... :) )
