Really good fun. Please don't make them any harder!

Thanks for the feedback everyone! I'm making more at the moment, and from today on there will be one every week in the daily puzzle section as well as one every month in the weekly puzzle section. If they're really popular then I could increase these quantities, but they're probably a little "specialist" and I don't want to crowd out the other puzzles.
mariemuad, I do take your point - of course with two sets of jigsaw regions (killer and sudoku) it's always going to be a little confusing, but would an option to disable the different colours for the jigsaw regions help? If so I can add this to the user options page.
Great Puzzle...should have more in the Daily offering...and just a bit tougher.

Changing the colors might help. The bigger confusion is dotted lines running close with solid lines sometimes (consider the bottom left '35'). Great puzzle though! Thanks
I agree about the confusion with the dotted lines but please don't remove the colours; it's the only thing that kept me sane. Thank goodness I'm noit colour blind!
Fantastic puzzle. Took a little getting used to the dotted regions and the solid regions. Maybe a little more practice with this type and it would be doable without even pencil marks. Really enjoyable, though.

I loved this puzzle. I seem to have missed 1-3 though, I guess those were subscriber only?
I do agree about the dotted lines being a bit hard to see though when they run near the bold lines. Perhaps you should make the dotted lines bolder and the bold lines thinner? The colors already help tell the jigsaw areas apart, so we don't need those bold as well.

I don't mean to accuse anyone of cheating, but how did pstrnr manage to finish this puzzle in 3:18 without using any aids? I thought my time of 9:21 was pretty fast.

Wow - thanks so much for all the feedback! I'll make some line-width adjustments as suggested by onlyjedi and see how it goes.
Answering questions:
obasma - there is a new killer jigsaw in the daily section every week now.
onlyjedi - I have separate numbering for weekly and daily sections, so no; the previous three were in this section but just a long time ago (2008 and earlier!)
loublou - you can play the puzzle multiple times and the 'best time' shown will still update if you play again (perhaps it shouldn't - in fact probably it shouldn't, but that's another issue). The other player has played the puzzle several times, and took much longer on their first attempt. For what it's worth, any time under half an hour is not bad at all! A time under 10 minutes on your first go without aids... well I think that's pretty remarkable! (Also, it's worth noting that for any puzzle played by a lot of people there are bound to be some surprisingly quick times just through luck, including lucky mistakes! Plus some people really are astoundingly good at the puzzles!)

Okay, I've made the jigsaw region lines much thinner - only slightly thicker than the regular grid lines, in fact.
I did try making the killer cage dashed lines thicker, as discussed above, but it didn't "work" - it was far too overpowering! So I've left those as they are.
Anyway, for me at least I think this is better.

And another update: now the puzzle stats at the top of each comments page show the best first time in each case. This is significant because if you played the puzzle again before (and some people play each puzzle many times) then your best time ever would show up the best time for that puzzle, if you indeed were the fastest. But potentially this was unfair, for people who want to compare their times on an equal footing to other players.
So what this means is that if you do play the puzzle again that best time is now private just to you (and still shown as your best to you) - but only your first attempt will show up as a ranking result.
So loublou, your name now shows up! (at least as I write this, anyway)

And one final update - a book of 100 Killer Jigsaw Sudoku is now available for adding to your puzzlemix account, as someone requested by email earlier! :)

You can however view other players' statistics and comments in the tables above.
