After all that hard work it still says 'Unaided first solution time Not played' !:) I know why, but it is a bit galling, especially as I'm the only one so far to have ploughed through unaided! It is not that difficult a puzzle if you are prepared to persevere.

Actually, it doesn't - your time is showing. If you open the puzzle from the comments page (i.e. this page) you need to reload the page yourself after solving to update the puzzle statistics in the text area. Only the horizontal row of information updates dynamically as you play the puzzle.
So that's good - your time and name are showing! :)

Thanks, Gareth, but however many times I reload, there is no bar chart for unaided first solution time and it states 'Not played' and average solve time with no or minor aid says ''Not solved' although for the time being I am still listed as best time without any aid. I know it is all because I am over the 2hr which is your cut-off point. But why does it matter, anyway, it's all just fun!!!:)

Oh, I see what you mean. I thought you were referring to the text on the right, which lists your time and name. Fair enough - my mistake! :)

I agree it's "just for fun" but I feel galled too if I find myself in the "2nd" column when I haven't used aids or saved the puzzle, probably because I've accidentally touched the check button instead of the 7- they're very close together on my tablet and I'm fairly clumsy!

A yellow/light blue highlight in the time distribution charts highlights your time, where relevant.
Rating scores out of 10.0 show the average difficulty rating chosen by users, where 1.0 is "Easy" and 10.0 is "Hard".
If a puzzle is opened more than once, including by loading from a saved position, then this is potentially a significant aid so it is listed as being completed with 'multiple sessions' for the purpose of the best time/average rating displays above.
Minor aid is defined as no more than one use of 'Check solution' when incomplete and/or no more than one use of 'Check solution' when wrong; and/or using highlighting aids (show repeated digits, show broken inequalities and show valid/invalid placements [slitherlink] only). Major aid is any and all other use of the solving aids except for 'show wrong'.
