I just realised that "available but not yet tried" puzzles (i.e. green triangle) appears on top of he list, and actually have done so for some time - but I remember they didn't at the start of "see what you're missing by not subscribing" display style. Thanks for fixing that, Gareth!

Not sure how to get started on this one - I ended up guessing. I think there's an important Hanjie technique that I'm missing somewhere.

vickyc, are you marking in the empty cells by right-clicking/ALT-clicking? They're often very hard if you don't.

I rated it medium because I figured people would think you could predict the picture too easily - I usually get lots of comments if any part is symmetric. ;) Perhaps I should have gone with the usual rating, which would have been "tricky".
Edit: Okay, based on ratings so far and comments above I've changed the difficulty rating in the title to 'tricky'.

I wonder how many people rated in Easy, like me. :-D
I started very slowly using logic alone and was expecting to rate it as hard. On spotting the symmetry in certain areas I managed to finish without much trouble - resulting in a rating of easy.

To Vickyc, if as gareth says, you fill in the 2 rows of zero filled cells (ie: all white), then look at the 8,3,9 column down - the 9 has to be under the blank lines. Ther are also a couple of columns that start with an 8 and then a 3; even if the 3 is in the lower section, you can fill in where the end of the 8 will come. You'll then find you can see where the rows across with 4 x 2 or 4x 3 in them have to be (ie: you'll have 4 individual cells marked) - and can blank in the gaps between them, leaving just the 1 oer 2 cells either side. In turn this shows where some of the larger numbers in the columns must be in the lower section. Now start counting the rows in the lower section (bottom 2 and the one with 3 lots of 5). You can fill in quite a bit and this starts building the lower section which now becomes MUCH easier. My to tip: save as you go. Good luck! Just try this one again a few times and the "tricks" will start to become more obvious. Also, I've only recently started doing these on-line, and do find them trickier than on paper. A bit of practice on ones like this will help. Enjoy!

Key
A yellow/light blue highlight in the time distribution charts highlights your time, where relevant.
Rating scores out of 10.0 show the average difficulty rating chosen by users, where 1.0 is "Easy" and 10.0 is "Hard".
If a puzzle is opened more than once, including by loading from a saved position, then this is potentially a significant aid so it is listed as being completed with 'multiple sessions' for the purpose of the best time/average rating displays above.
Minor aid is defined as no more than one use of 'Check solution' when incomplete and/or no more than one use of 'Check solution' when wrong; and/or using highlighting aids (show repeated digits, show broken inequalities and show valid/invalid placements [slitherlink] only). Major aid is any and all other use of the solving aids except for 'show wrong'.
Thanks for fixing that, Gareth!
